Once the weather starts warming up and the flowers begin to bloom, St. Louis locals and visitors alike are ready to get outside and enjoy all that spring has to offer. That’s why the city offers so many fun activities and events, including a variety of spring festivals in St. Louis. GO! St. Louis Marathon & Family Fitness Weekend

In April, fitness-minded families and friends will enjoy participating in this weekend filled with events in downtown St. Louis. Whether you plan to run the St. Louis marathon or cheer on the runners, it’s sure to be a fun event. There’s also a half marathon, marathon relay, and 5K for those who aren’t interested in the full 26.2 miles, as well as a fitness expo.


Art Fair at Laumeier

In early May, art lovers can head over the Laumeier Sculpture Park to enjoy a fine arts and crafts fair. Explore paintings, photography, sculpture, woodwork, prints, jewelry, and more from national artists. There will also be live music, demonstrations, entertainment and more at this St. Louis spring event.


St. Louis Earth Day Festival

Another April event that locals and visitors enjoy is the Earth Day festival. Held in late April in Forest Park, this annual event gives you the chance to celebrate Mother Nature and learn about how to live more sustainably. Enjoy local food, entertainment, more than 200 booths, and hand-on activities the whole family will love.


PrideFest St. Louis

In June, you can celebrate the LGBTQ community by heading to Soldiers Memorial to enjoy PrideFest. This annual celebration includes a parade with plenty of floats, live entertainment, and more.


Shakespeare Festival St. Louis

From late May to mid-June, theatre lovers can enjoy the words of the Bard during the Shakespeare Festival St. Louis. Take in a Shakespearean performance under the stars in Forest Park. Bring along blankets or chairs, and dine on a picnic dinner or a box dinner from the onsite caterer.
