I’ve waited upwards of 2 hours for an oil change. You can also count on waiting up to a couple of weeks out to schedule service of any kind. I’m hoping to continue to take my new car there for service, but they will have to earn back my business.

I previously had 2 bad experiences with 2 othe Kia dealerships and was giving this one a try or it was strike 3. I met Robyn and she was great. Went to this dealership because they are advertising up to $5000 over for your trade. This is FALSE! They are marking their cars up $3000-$5000 over sticker price to “give” you this deal. On top of this their offer on my trade was a low ball offer. Do not waste your time

After the recall of lower engine in 2022 my car no longer recognizes when the key fob is in close proximity. Previously, when the key fob was close enough to unlock the car the mirrors would unfold automatically. I finally brought my car in for this issue last month and they could find no issue or solution. I called KIA customer service as recommended. The mirrors folding out as a result to key fob being close enough to unlock- they didn’t know what this feature would be called,therefore, from their side of things they can neither confirm or deny this was a feature on my KIA. However, now the driver mirror is getting stuck when locked and unlocked the sound of the motor continuously runs. Also, when locking the car with the key fob the car no longer honks for verification of car locking. I was then charged $170 diagnostic fee for the 3rd trip up there for them to make a 20 second video stating the mirror isn't working properly and the service center said this was not caused by them. Very poor service, unethical business practice to not address the problem they caused, and I would not recommend anyone use them for services.
I have had the WORST experience with the service department. It’s honestly the worst customer service I think I have EVER received from anyone. My car started burning through oil like crazy, so I made an appointment for 11/29/21 for it to be looked at. I was literally on the highway 10 minutes away from my appointment with Kia when my engine went out. My brakes wouldn’t work, the car started dying, and there was nowhere to pull over, so it was a pretty scary experience. Popped the hood and noticed my car was completely out of oil AGAIN even though I put 3 quarts in 4 days prior, and it wasn’t leaking anywhere. I ended up having to get my car towed in, which I paid almost $130 out of pocket for. I called to let them know I was going to be a little late since it had to get it towed in, but I obviously still need it to be looked at. They ended up cancelling my appointment? And after all of that I was only 40 minutes late. I re-explained everything when I came in, and all they said was “ I’m not going to have time to look at that today.” Which I get it, because it got towed in, but I DID still make an appointment, and I called to let them know I was obviously going to be late. They kind of brushed me off to the waiting room, and said they would let me know what they were going to do. So I waited for like 40 minutes or so until I went and found someone and asked if I was supposed to be staying or not. They were just like “Yeah, we’re probably not going to have time to look at it today.” Ok. Great. Thanks for letting me know. Normally I get Brian in the service department, and he has always been wonderful. So I'm sure if he was the one working on my car this wouldn't have happened. Anyways, I kept calling for updates and kept getting told “they were going to look at it tomorrow”. They went DAYS before even looking at it, and then I finally get told it needs a new engine, and that they will have to keep my car for 2-3 weeks. They told me that I couldn’t even get a loaner car until they “clock in that they’re working on my car.” Which is completely ridiculous. After almost a month and STILL not having any update on my car I threw a fit about needing a loaner because I have 2 kids, and sharing my husband’s truck was NOT working out. So, I finally get a call from Andy and was told I could get into a loaner, and that all the parts were in on my car, and that it shouldn’t be too much longer…….so another MONTH goes by. I got told someone from Kia Customer Service was going to get back with me about my car and then nobody ever responded. So I call again on 1/27/22, and was told that all of my parts just came in, but I was confused because I was told that a month ago. He said that they had to order 17 parts and an engine, which I was never told before. He said that my car would be done within the next couple days or so. Next thing you know, I get a text the following day saying my car was ready. I had a funeral and wake I had to go to, so I wasn’t able to drop it off. I asked if I could keep it until Monday because of the funeral, and because I was told it was going to be a couple days. They told me I was going to have to pay $39 a day for it if that’s what I decided to do. I said absolutely not, and went off about my 2 MONTH ordeal. Not once did I get an apology for my experience. I typed out a huge response and all Cindy had to say was “Who is the he you’re referring to so I know?”. No apology, nothing. I haven’t been rude, or nasty to anybody, but I think any person would be frustrated after 2 MONTHS of NOT KNOWING what is going on with their car. I wouldn’t have cared if I would have been consistently updated. I wouldn’t have cared if someone was even just nice to me. Trust me, I get it. With everything going on in the world I KNOW there is delayed shipping times on parts, materials, etc. I really do, but all they had to do was let me know, or simply just be kind! When I went to pick up my car today, Cindy was rude to the girl who drove me over from Hyundai, and then I just got handed my keys to leave. Nobody went over to my car to show me the work that was done on it, heck nobody even told me what really happened with it. The very sweet woman working the cashier's desk, Naomi, kind of just read the paperwork description to me, but that was all. And that's not her job so I'm not blaming her at all. But I received no apology, gas tank on E, and trashed floor boards. I thought after 2 months it would maybe at least be vacuumed. But no. And I still haven’t been reimbursed for my towing. My car has 71K miles on it. Pretty sad I had to go through all of this with a car that hasn’t even hit 100k miles yet. The ONLY good thing is that my warrantee covered the engine. I will make sure I NEVER buy from Kia again.

The sale guys, James Bullock and Mark Yokhum, we're very helpful and did a great job getting us cars that were perfect for needs. When we come in for service, Mr. Richter takes great effort to get the service done quickly and professionally. When we needed a second car we drovec 60 miles, passed several dealerships to give Suntrup Kia the first shot to find us a car. 2 hours later we left with our new Soul.

The worst customer service ever by the customer service manager Justin who basically called us liars. We took our Sorrento there to get a new transmission we were told it would take 5 days it took 4 weeks. When we picked it up the windshield was cracked, Justin said it was a rock chip that was there when we brought it but they inspected the car upon arrival and it was not there. I rode in the passenger seat that day and would have seen a rock chip from the inside. He insisted that in the four week it sat on their lot that nothing could happen to it, wow. I told him we have bought several vehicles but this would be the last he said good. I stated I would put this on the internet he said make sure you spell my name right this man has no business in customer service . Apparently repeat customers are no longer important to Suntrup Kia South so beware

I would not recommend this dealership. The initial salesman stated he would work to get the car under MSRP before the test drive. After the test drive, he stated he was not sure he would even get the car at MSRP due to needing to discuss with his manager. The salesman who I spoke with the next day about the final price of the vehicle stated the prior salesman would never have said be could potentially get the car under MSRP and I definitely misheard him. I did not have time to dealer locate the car or I would have. This was the only car with the color and features in the area. Additionally, the sales man offered a free gast tank fill up if I gave a five star review. Keep that in mind for the 5 star reviews you see on here.

We had a great experience! We stopped by late in the evening and weren’t able to go through the whole process of buying a car because our kids hadn’t had dinner yet. We were just planning on looking. But I fell in love! Mo helped us put a deposit down so we could come back at a better time. He made it fast and easy! The next day the sale went quick and smoothly! Salesman was great but finance person was arrogant, rude and dismissive. Wouldn’t answer questions about warranty offered. Did not tell us that outside financing wasn’t allowed. Must finance with them or pay buy cash.

This is the third car bought from Suntrup Kia. The staff has always courteous, helpful and they know their business! This is the second car we have purchased from Robyn! She is absolutely the best car sales person I have ever encountered. I told her "she is my car lady"! I forget the gentleman who did the last purchase activity. It was a male in the finance- not sure if was Brendon-- even offered to help us retrieve a lost title for another car not even involved with the purchase! Dan was great as was Jeff in Management but between financing and billing licensing you have a major log jam. Thirty eight days after purchase and still do not have everything I need to properly license the vehicles I bought.. Uptempo asking for paperwork with loan information I still do not have Need to fix that part to make this a better experience. Your sales team is great but alot of work needed on the backside. I am really on the fence about recommending this dealership but because last experience was good giving the benefit of the doubt that this time it was a fluke.

Worst dealership I have ever experienced. A xxxxxx could run this place better. Unprofessional! Ignorant! Incompetent! Useless! Actually was told to lie to police if pulled over when temp tag expired! BJ should not be a finance employee I am surprised he can even function on a day to day basis.
Review: Suntrup Kia South Lindberg URGENT ATTENTION!!! For 8 years, I've trusted Suntrup Kia South Lindberg, where I even bought my first car and have continually used their services. Sadly, recent events marked by oversight and a blatant lack of attention have completely eroded my faith in them. Recently, my car suffered intense engine damage, leading to repair estimates of a massive $8,300 - exceeding its present value of $7,200. On a September 12th visit. I paid out $500+ for a valve cover gasket fix and was told to return after 1,000 miles for a check. But their appointment system was confusing, and i had continuous oil problems. When reaching out, many calls led to voicemails. Only after a devastating engine breakdown on the freeway did I get a response – one that felt more like damage control than anything. Service manager Justin Glaze came off as indifferent and not supportive. Even with evident engine problems, he simply advised "adding more oil." His over-reliance on his position blinded him to clear issues that even a novice like myself could see. His team mainly overlooked critical signs such as rampant oil usage which can be caused from spark plugins not working causing incomplete combustion in the engine which can lead to scoring on the cylinder walls that cause oil to be burned. This is something completely overlooked by Justin. In spite of my genuine worries, both the dealership and notably Justin, denied responsibility. The tone became aggressive, with Justin resorting to insults, labeling me a smart*** and ordering me out of his office. He claimed I didn't adhere to guidelines, which were unclear, as I even stated this as I had left multiple messages conveying my uncertainties which went unanswered. The financial strain from this situation is overwhelming. When discussing a potential refund for the prior $500+ charges and the current repair expenses, I was met with indifference. Justin's assertion that they "resolved" the problem rang empty, more so when juxtaposed with a malfunctioning engine and undeniable proof that the oil consumption problem persisted. I requested to speak to Elliot Silk, the service director and got his extension. I’ve called everyday for the last 3 days without a call back. On day 2 Justin called me, starting the conversation that Elliot Silk was too busy in meetings to talk to me and that he trusts everything Justin said and will go with his suggestions unquestioned and without talking to me at all. They offered an insulting 10% off the repairs still leaving the cost above the value of the vehicle. Then proceeded to double down on his attitude and disrespect on the phone this time. Here are my grievances: Accountability & Professionalism: Dishearteningly absent. Justin's condescension and unprofessional behavior were unsettling. Cussing and resorting outright dismissing out of his office because of me calmly counter arguing his non-logical positions he held. Communication: Failed calls, missed voicemails because of their “new software” they just installed, lengthy unanswered call waiting, no call backs, and dismissive interactions in person show a breakdown in customer service. Technical Competency: Didn’t address my original problem of oil burning at the rate it was. Failed to suggest basic engine maintenance but consistently asked if my tires needed rotation, admission from master techs that a spark plug issue(which led to the engine blowing) was the cause of oil burning were all overlooked by Justin Glaze. Compensation: Now I have a massive bill and no vehicle. A mere 10% off, as offered, doesn't come close to addressing the distress caused before, during and now after. In summation, Suntrup Kia South Lindberg at large has failed to uphold the standards I once held them to. A trusted relationship built over eight year crumbled within days, leaving me with an unusable car, a massive bill, and broken trust. I implore potential customers to reconsider going here!
